Smooth yet distinctive like Tony Bennett.
Characteristics
Dust off the Tony Bennett albums and slip on a satin robe. This one is smooth-talkin’ and distinctive.
So maybe you left your heart in San Francisco, but don’t leave home without a cup of this swingin’ stuff every morning. We conjured up a bean that is not overpoweringly bright but has some interesting fruit or other notes. Solid body and finish are the stars of the show, but make sure you note the subtle distinctions that render this coffee rat-pack-would-be-proud groovy. Great brewed in a drip machine, press pot or vac pot or as a single origin espresso.
Current Bean
This is our second crop of this Harrar and it keeps getting better. Mesela is in the Oromia region and bordered on the southwest by the Galetti River. This coffee is grown at 1700 meters and is almost entirely processed by hand. You will find a silky mouth feel, sweet fruit, and a crane sugary sweetness that holds it all together. This year's Mesela is tremendously balanced and offers up sweet, low- acidity fruit in order to make a spectacular brewed coffee in a number of methods.
