Dust off the Tony Bennett albums and slip on a satin robe. This one is smooth-talkin’ and distinctive.
So maybe you left your heart in San Francisco, but don’t leave home without a cup of this swingin’ stuff every morning. We conjured up a bean that is not overpoweringly bright but has some interesting fruit or other notes. Solid body and finish are the stars of the show, but make sure you note the subtle distinctions that render this coffee rat-pack-would-be-proud groovy. Great brewed in a drip machine, press pot or vac pot or as a single origin espresso.
Hailing from the Haile Selassie mill of Sidamo Ethiopia, this coffee comes to us through Ethiopia's ECX coffee exchange. The coffee has classic Sidamo fruit notes that swirl between cherries, rasberries and limes. This coffee is medium bodied with a great chocolate finish. When freshly ground the aroma exhibits powerful tree fruit and floral notes. This coffee is easy drinking and smooth from start to finish. It goes great with milk and even makes a fine single origin espresso. Recommended for all brewing methods.
