The current Yippee is from the Rwanda Musasa Cooperative. It is 100% red bourbon, fully washed, and dried on African beds. The Musasa Cooperative is in the Ruli sector of the Rushashi district in northwest Rwanda. Most of the producers who supply Musasa grow on less than a hectare of land and average only 500 coffee trees. All the coffee is hand-picked only when fully ripe. The beans are sorted, sorted and then sorted again to remove defects. This coffee is super clean and complex. A great mouth feel and honey sweetness carries a red currant acidity.
